Apartment Review for Windsor At Bee Cave - Austin, TX

This place used to be nice when it first opened up. With that being said, it is now a hellhole. The problem is the TERRIBLE management. They have only one property manager who is extremely uncooperative and rude. She never returns e-mails or calls. The recycle bins overflow, the office doesn't answer calls when they should, and the buildings weren't build properly and to code. Therefore they are doing construction on the balconies now. Jackhammering, loud construction workers yelling, and boards slamming. They have been doing construction since JULY 2009 and WILL NOT COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION UNTIL FAR AFTER JANUARY 2010. I found COCKROACHES in my new apartment, management had a bug guy come spray three or four times before they were gone. The construction and management is a HUGE drawback. Avoid somewhere where management treats you like you're just another tenant, and ignores your calls. The dog park can get very loud with barking dogs and people do NOT clean up after their pets here. There is dog poop all over the grass by the sidewalks, so you can literally walk right into poop if you don't watch it. One drawback of the dog park is you can hear big dogs barking sometimes. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the 3rd floor only, because we could hear our neighbors stomping around loudly, and had to move units.
