Apartment Review for The Block - Austin, TX

First of all, tandem parking is such an inconvenience. Worse than that though is the fact that the majority of people's cars get broken into and their tires slashed on a regular basis. Management refuses to install security cameras. Instead, they encourage you to purchase their rental insurance. The apartments APPEAR to be nice on the outside, but the construction is shoddy and the materials used is sub-par. If you touch the paint on the walls, it rubs off. The kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors come off all the time. The elevators are CONSTANTLY broken. I will be very curious to see if (and how much) I get my deposit back when I move out. I would NOT recommend anyone living in this apartment until management makes some big changes.
