Apartment Review for The Block - Austin, TX

I live at the block on leon. The apartment is average, I will say that we pay significantly less than the quoted rate for a 2/2, so despite what they say there is a lot of negotiating room. Pros: - very modern building - decent workout room - AWESOME roof view - nice appliances - assigned parking is nice and enforced - maitenance crew is good Cons: - wireless internet is a joke, very slow - noise = big problem, lots of drunken idiots - vandalism due to drunken idiots. Hallway is usually trashed and full of puke by Sunday. Somebody even ripped the front door handle off! - my car was broken into in the garage, not entirely their fault - elevator frequently broken
