Apartment Review for Saddle Creek Apartments - Austin, TX

I had a pretty good experience with this apartment complex...until it was time to move out. They piled up tons of BS charges - pets stains, carpet damage etc. that didn't exist. I asked for proof -photos etc...none were ever provided. I was offered the "receipt from carpet cleaning company." It seems Saddlecreek opens the doors and allows the company getting paid to determine what needs additional cleaning. Heck yea they're going to say "deep cleaning" is needed. My pets left no stains. The carpet was installed poorly to begin with which caused it to come up on the edges in places. This fact I had marked on my move-in documentation. This apartment was great when I first moved in. In the last 8 months, they have started leasing to a less than desirable crowd. Noise levels were much worse when I moved out than they were when I moved in. BEWARE.
