Apartment Review for River Stone Ranch - Austin, TX

You should think twice before renting at this place. The management (especially Meredith, Megan, and Nancy- the manager) are heartless and deceitful people. I wrecked my car during the ice storm in mid January. I had nowhere to take it once I got it out of the tow impound lot and called and asked the management if it was okay if I parked my wrecked car in one of the uncovered spaces. I spoke to Meredith and she said it would be fine to park it there and asked how long I would have it in the space. I told her about a week. A week and four days later, they towed my car without notifying me. A week after my car was towed, I was finally notified by the

tow company through the mail. The management at Riverstone never bothered to tell me about the tow. When I called and asked them why my car was towed, they said they'd tagged it four times and after "notifying" me through tags, decided to tow my car. Since there are no uncovered spaces nearby my apartment, I had to park it on the other side of the complex in an uncovered space. So I never saw any of the tags. I asked why meredith said it was okay when according to Nancy, the lease states that I cannot park a wrecked car in any space. meredith of course lied and said she'd never spoken to me. This is all something I tried to avoid by calling the management the day I got my car towed to the apartment. The management do not care about the tenants and tell them one thing, go back on their word, and laugh in your face. I suggest not living here because they will lie and deceive you and then tow your car. I hope they know what goes around definitely comes around.

Also this place has a horrible location. You have to take the William Cannon exit and make a u-turn and go all the way back to get to it, whether you are coming from 71 or Mopac. Also, the management sucks. The apartment across from ours has rats and they are being reluctant to exterminate. DO NOT LIVE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES OR YOU WILL SURELY REGRET IT!
