Defective security gate smashed my truck

The chronically defective security gate decided to close prematurely on my truck causing significant damage. When addressed to the property manager, her response was "I'm sorry that happened but we're not going to do anything for you. Remember, you signed an addendum relieving us of any damage that might be caused to your personal property". Coincidentally, I received my lease renewal statement the next day. They decided to jack rent up 15-20%. Bye bye Ridgeview.  Need to rent an apartment?
