Apartment Review for The Preserve At Travis Creek - Austin, TX

There are no pleasant thoughts that come to mind when I think of the clowns that the owners of Greystar have running the front office of Preserve at Travis Creek. Lets start with the “the manager”. I believe this to be a women but I have never actually seen her. I have requested to speak with her on a number of occasions but she refuses to show her face…much less speak to me. I have had several major problems that should have been handled by the Preserves “mystery manager” but each time I get passed off to her mentally bloated, unpleasant, full of herself, repulsive assistant manager, Kaitlyn whose more interested in picking her nose then tenant problems. Guess this is “mystery managers” way of punishing tenants who have the audacity to come in the office with “a problem”. The management staff here is the most rude, insensitive, uninterested, unprofessional, repulsive, vile, stuck-up, hateful people I have ever come across in a professional setting. Where are on earth did they find these people. They are greedy, communicate poorly and have a total lack of concern for keeping residence here, happy or even the initiative to work with them under special circumstances. I’m beginning to understand why so many ex-residents have taken their anger out on the security gates…I use to think that wasn’t a joke…now I know it isn’t. When I moved here 5 years ago, this place was awesome and the management team was fantastic. Muffy, I miss you girl. I have overheard so many conversations among residence about how dissatisfied they are here now. They ignored residence about a water cap that kept popping up when a car went over it. When a friend of mine came to pick me up on his motorcycle, he went over the cap, it popped up causing his bike to flip. The damage was over $4000.00 dollars. When the management was called we were told that it wasn’t their responsibility to maintain water caps. The staff is allowed to use the facilities after work. A year ago, one of the maintenance guys showed up at the back pool and starting harassing my daughter and trying to get her to leave with him in his car leaving her friend behind. She told him no so he started shoving a bottle of booze in her face telling her she have as much as she wanted. When she refused, he walked away but reminder her that he worked there and he knew what she drove…and…where she worked. When she got to her car that was parked in front of the pool facility...it had been keyed from one end, front to back then around on the other side front to back. Management and security were immediately notified. Security was very sympathetic, told me to contact management first thing in morning and when I explained the situation they told me basically "screw off". And this was after they spoke to employee who admitted he was at the pool after hours and offered them booze. Of course he denied keying her car. $3000.00 damage was the cost to have it fixed. It was that deep. This place use to be an awesome apt. complex, way back, when Muffy was here. These people they have on staff now…are a bunch of rejects. Don’t rent here. There is way better places to live then the Preserve at Travis Creek. The place is way overpriced, they will raise your rent constantly, the pools are hot in the summer, and the whole scene just sucks. Take your hard earned money and put it somewhere else…this place is a waste. Good luck management staff...you suck. And you can take that 9,000.00 dollars you billed me for after moving out and shove it up your stinking holes.
