Thought this place was the next best thing. Until the sprinkler heads all started to blow off starting the first 6mos after moving in. Some crew had come to inspect the fire supression system shortly before all the trouble too. Did more harm than good, imo. Put mark on wall with the big ladder they drug over the balconey. Then the sprinkler heads in the garage started to leak, each one shortly after the other had been fixed. Drenched boxes and car with nasty oily water. Large gaping holes left in the cieling for months cuz confusion from the office and maintenance over how many holes there actually where. Office staff can't chew gum and walk at the same time. Don't give them more than one problem at a time, just wasting your breath. The last one to blow was inside at the bottom of stairs, smelled up the entrance with gross greesy antifreeze rust water. Cross my fingers it doesnt blow over my head or furniture.

More recently the toilet sunk through the floor. Water leaking from non-existant seal under the toilet. They only did the minimum to put the toilet back on the flange and threw some quick-crete with a "lick and a promise". Toilets gonna fall through the garage next time. On someones Escalade no doubt.

Had them recaulk the tubs the tubs twice before I gave up and did it myself. Used some cheepo latex caulk that dissolves when you clean the tube the first time. What a bunch of noobs. Got tired of bein horsed around by dimwitted Steve the office dork. Told me I needed to let it dry long enough to "set up". I wasn't goin to skip a shower for a week just to humor him.

Upstairs tub always leaks onto the floor. New maintenance guy that replaced Reuben said he had some kind of do-hicky for that problem but havent heard back from him. He's busier than than a one legged man with those new office queens runnin things. Only got the job cuz they sabotaged the last manager (Dawn) they worked under and dont do any better, besides being more argumentative. Wasn't surprised she says her tub always leaks too. Great, im so thrilled its not just me.

They finally had someone check the A/C systems for leaks after years of comlaints from tenants about high bills. Been air conditioning Texas for the last two years. No wonder the third room never gets any air. Granted its still not much better, probably still blowin in the attic.

Parking is a just a joke. Always fightin to get home before everyone takes the few available. I just dont bother to go anywhere if i dont have to so i dont lose my space between 5pm and 10pm. Unless you got the big two car garage w/2b2b apt or have stuff stored in the garage, your in a bad way if you have more than one car. The tow companies circle around like vultures looking for any car close to the red painted curbs. One guy tried to tow me while i was checking my oil in front of my garage with the hood up, parked out so that it was level. Your car will be towed, its just a matter of time. The Office gives you some jumbo sized poo about the fire codes or something. Basicly they dont care and they probably get kickbacks, wouldn't be surprised.

Didn't have problems with noise until the nieghbors moved and new ones came. Indian family shares only wall in the fourplex still manages to yell loud enough to wake me up around 10pm to 2am. And these walls are pretty thick. Girl from the pool side moved over and brought her party with her. This is the worst because any conversation on the balcony above a whisper can be heard like they're right next to your bedroom window. Amplify that by drunkeness and the echo between buildings with nothing but 40ft of concrete driveway betweeen. It was nice of the her to come home drunk and drugged from the bars and keep us up until 6am, screaming upstairs at her boyfriend who wasnt home, cuz she locked herself out of the house and had the cops out twice to put her inside. The office noobs wouldn't give her a noise warning cuz she said she didnt remember anything or was slipped something in her drink. Figures, probably gave them flashbacks to their sorority days.

Gates never work, and finally someone wrapped one in an L cuz they ran into it so hard. Like to see them fix that one. Every weekend someone rams the gates, usually friday or saturday. Maybe if they weren't so cheap and made the fence taller, these drunk idiots could see the gate over the front of SUVs.

The dog poo problem has come and gone in spurts(hah!). Mostly its annyoing to be menaced at by every dog thats confined on these rinky dink patios. Can't even walk around the complex to take trash or get mail without 101 mangy mutts barkin at you.

I dont bother puttin out trash on the curb cuz its often still there till the afternoon. Just take it to the dumpster myself. Get to savor the quaintness of the doggy poo park, putting green torn up by kiddies, and the car wash spot thats always occupied by someones parked car unless its between 10am and 3pm

Exterminator has supposedly been here three times last year for these lil ants runnin around the kitchen. Finally resorted to ziploz bagging everything in the pantry to starve them out. Now they're attracted to my mouthwash in the bathroom. Kind of like feeding antifreeze to cats. Only 200,000 more ants to go.

Rent keeps goin up, not at all inline with the average rents around here. They sure are proud of these lil "townhomes", cough fourplex cough. They must think they're competing with the housing rentals instead of apartments. And try goin month to month to find a house to purchase, that will get you $1500/mo rent with the monthly "service fee". Maybe that will buy some replacement quartz lamps to light the parking lots after im gone.
