To be honest, I have not had any bad experiences with Longhorn Landing. The staff is young and can be rather arrogant but they do their job. As far as the neighborhood, many say that it is crime plagued and dangerous, but I'm a 19-year petite female and I feel pretty safe here. East Austin is mainly composed of immigrants so often comes the criminal stereotype. I pay $395 and I think it's a fair price. Although this isn't the Ritz-Carlton, it's livable. The only thing I would suggest is moving here with at least one person you know; the last thing you want is a creeper roommate. All in all, I like living here and even though it's not the most luxurious place, it's comfortable and hey, we're students not millionaires, what you get is what you pay for |
