Apartment Review for Longhorn Landing - Austin, TX

There were many problems upon move-in (bedroom not cleaned, pot seeds in the carpet, walls dirty, dishwasher didnt work properly) along with many problems that came later. I was put with a complete slob for a roommate, my gas was shut off for reasons having nothing to do with me or the other current residents in the apartment in January, so I was freezing, no heat or hot water for 4 days. Happened again next month for 2 days due to a "faulty part" on the hot water heater" and now I'm being charged more than my last two months rent for my pets, when I thought a pet deposit was paid in October of '07 when it's now June of '08. Forget living here, find somewhere better.
