Apartment Review for Lakeshore Apartments - Austin, TX

I lived at this apartment complex for 3 years, and just purchased a house. It is true that the apartments are run down, but you get what you pay for. It is one of the cheapest apartments to live in with in Austin. The apartments are lake front, with a beautiful city view, close to down town, and access to hike/bike trails. Jean, the management is great!!! Philip, maintenance, is quick to respond and fix problems. Gas and cable are free. Really a great value! The do a good job in keeping much of the riff-raff out, compared to the other complexes in South Austin.
