Pretty great place for the price

I lived here from 2004-2006, in apt #120. And, the grounds were kept up beautifully - no shit - landscapers go every Tuesday or Wednesday and mow and trim. It's a nice complex. Jean, the manager, is professional and very nice, will always listen to you. It's near the river, near the hike and bike, near HEB, near restaurants, I-35, a 7-Eleven is right across the street and so is a laundry mat, although there are 3-4 on site. My only complaints are personal to me and my personality. I lived in the apartment furthest away from the river, on the ground floor, in a corner apartment. That meant that I didn't have a view and that anyone walking by could see in (I mean, the walkway was right outside my apartment) - not too bad during the day, but it sucked at night, since I am a single woman & lived alone. Also, the apartments and the water were always warm. Great during the winter, you never have to turn on the heater. The electricity bills were always great here, anyway, but in the summer, it was pretty hot in there. But, really, that's it. If I could've had an apartment facing the river and if I hadn't gone through a bad breakup while I lived there and still associated my apartment with my ex, I would live there, still. |
