Apartment Review for Gaines Ranch Apartments - Austin, TX

When signed lease I was told that It would go to a month to month lease when the lease was finished. The lease contract stated as much. Anyone reading would believe that once the contract went month to month that the same rent would be on the month to month lease. Once the contract expired they raised the rent on the month to month by more than 50% unless I agreed to another lease. Unfortunatly loop holes in the contract allow for a raise in rent but nothing stated that the rent would make a jump like that. Very decitful of them. If I had the time and energy I would have fought it in court. Very unproffessional behavior.
