best you are going to get for $400

This is probably as good as it is going to get for $400, even in riverside. i have lived here for almost 6 months and have not had any big problems so far. The worst part is the bus ride to UT, its fine during the day but it is horrible after 5. The parking is great during the day but be home by 9 or 10 most nights to get a space anywhere close to your building. im not sure covered parking is much better because even though you have a reserved spot, it may not be super close to your unit. the walls are a little thin but i have never heard a neighbors conversation. you can hear stuff out in the breezeway, but i dont think that is due to poor construction. the management is alright, i havent had any real issues with them-just beware they are college kids getting free rent. dont expect wonders from them. there are a ton of ammenities out here compared to tiny places in west campus, but be prepared to either drive drunk or argue it out with a friend over who has to dd. this complex is cleaner/nicer/quieter than campus estates and longhorn landing, but not as clean or quiet as village across the street. this place is a good medium. if you are going to live in a college neighborhood, be prepared for trash/beer cans/loud people/loud music/etc etc or dont live in a college area. dont expect top quality because this is not your parents house. i like the complex but i need to be closer. i woudl recommend this to a friend who had to live in riverside to save money and will release if i cant find anything else affordable. |
