Apartment Review for Chelsea Creekside - Austin, TX

The apartments used to have some charm to them. Maintenance was good. Now, with the new management, the place looks like a construction dump. Maintenance waits have been long. The priorities seem to have shifted to the uselessly cosmetic. Their phone message says the apartments are recently renovated and you deserve it, which makes me laugh. There have been spray painted construction markers on the buildings for a while now. They give you hardly a day's notice to move everything off of your porch/balcony (where to, who knows!), otherwise they won't be liable for damages "fixing" the apartments by slapping on a nice coat of paint. You know, maybe in a year, two years, or five years, the construction will be completed and this place might look nice. That's cool and all, but right now, it's much worse off than when I moved in and there is absolutely no way I'm renewing my lease. I bet they're trying to sell new renters on the potential of the renovations. I say, find a place that doesn't look like a construction zone.
