The apartment I had was allright - it was on the third floor and there was a big tree outside of my balcony, which was great because I could hang out there naked. Problem is, I lived there for 12 months and the water mains broke four times, and I had a neighbor with a water leak once that required them shutting off the water. That's five days where I didn't have any water all day until the evening time, which doesn't sound so bad until you realise that you have to let your toilet fill up with piss because you only get one flush until the water's fixed. Neither they nor the city of austin would take responsibility for the water main problems - so it's not necessarily their fault, but when my lease ended I found a much bigger place that costed not too much more. It wasnt a bad place at all, but that sure left a negative impression in my mind. There's definitely better places out there, but this was one of the cheaper places off of metric I could find. I couldn't recommend this place without bringing up the issues I had.
