Apartment Review for Campus Estates - Austin, TX

When I was looking for apartments in Austin, at first this looked like a great idea. I read the reviews which were bad and thought oh not a big deal. I was so wrong! I should have head for the hills when I read them! THESE APARTMENTS ARE THE WORST! I have never had a problem with break ins but I did have some issues with stalker type stuff... not a good part of town. If you do move here I would suggest renters insurance to prevent any loss you might experience from a break in. Some of the problems I have experianced... - When I first moved in there were POOPY boxers in the dresser. Not sure if they clean anything before you move in.. and trust me... the people there before you were probably DISGUSTING!! - Once our hot water went out. Apparently on call maintenance is for "emergencies only" as the office liked to put it. We were without hot water for 5 days before they came and fixed it. - It is impossible to take a hot shower at all now. Only semi warm water that runs out fast. -My shower is DISGUSTING. the paint on the bottom is all chipping off... it looks horrible. I called and complained but no use. Count on everything breaking and the office not caring!!!!!!!!
