Apartment Review for Camden Woodview - Austin, TX

Camden Woodview definately wouldn't be considered a luxury apartment, but it was comfortable and felt safe. I have been here since January of 07 and have enjoyed my experience thusfar, however there are some logistical issues I never would have thought of without living here that need addressing. #1. The outside stairwells have no roof. When it rains you go down the stairs with fat drops that have collected above you falling from between the steps.. this is unfortunately sometimes mixed with mud from whenever people have gone upstairs in the rain, also the irrigation is kind of poor in my section of the complex. Because the buildings are so close together grass doesnt grow in the little courtyard, so that when it rains it makes a nasty muddy mess all over the sidewalks.. which for some reason always seems like the lowest point therefore collecting muddy water puddles. It makes it almost impossible to not track mud into your apartment which is extremely frustrating, take your shoes off at the door. Also, the appliances are a bit dated. However, the staff is really friendly and has helped me in times of need, particularly when my computer crashed they allowed me to use thiers in the office. The water pressure is great, and the neighbors have been really friendly as well. Overall its a good place.. and they provide washers and dryers in all units. Thats always a plus.
