Apartment Review for Camden South Congress - Austin, TX

To start off, the water bills are around $90 a month. On top of paying valet trash ($25) you have to pay the city trash ($15) a month. I was told that the app and pet fee would be waived when I signed the lease...2 months later I receive bills for both apps and pet fees/rent. 3 months into my lease I receive a bill for my washer and dryer...something I never signed (finally got this handled and waived but it should not have been a charge in the first place). Just this month I receive a late fee of $50 even though I turned my rent in on time. Omitting the horrible treatment of the residents here, it is extremely noisy-the parking garage echoes car squeeks and drunk people all hours of the night. Not to mention, early morning weed blowers come almost every morning. The staff is horrible...especially the assistant manager who is on a power trip to hell. There are drunk people all hours of the night every night hanging out at the pool and in the parking lot but there is NO onsite security officer to deter this. I don't know anyone who lives here that actually likes it.
