Apartment Review for Bridgehead Condominium Apts - Austin, TX

Don't be fooled by false smiles when you come to talk to management at Bridgehead apartments. This is about the only thing they are good at -- that and collecting money. No maintenance orders are ever written done -- so plan on making requests 2 to 3 times before the are done, if they every get done. If they do get done, plan on the work being a patch here, or a nail there. Nothing is ever totally torn out and fixed, i.e., the floor under my kitchen sink rotted due to leaking pipes. Maintenance came in and nailed down a board on top of the rotting wood below. Just hope I can get out before it warms up and the bugs make their home amongst the heat and the rotting wood and the water. The solution to my rattling airconditioner was to pound nails into the metal face plate. Oh, yeah, that's going work. Again, hoping I can get out before I have to start running that unit. Plan on paying at least $100/month for electricity, as these untis have no insulation. Wear your shoes around the pool, as the ancient deck has nails and rotted boards sticking up everywhere. Keep you shoes on while walking on the grass. Dog poop everywhere! I can't wait to leave ...
