Apartment Review for Balcones Woods Apartments - Austin, TX

During my lease renewal they didn't keep up their promise of shampooing the carpet. Average sized living room, fairly big sized bedroom and a tiny bathroom. Appliances are really very old. Plumbing is really in need of big overhaul. All the faucets leak. The refrigerator door handle pops out when you try to open it. All the windows and doors leak due to very bad insulation (cuts into your utility bills). The dishwasher leaks. They may have to redo the roof pretty soon too. Its just the location that has kept me here. Will be looking to move out at the end of the lease period.
