Apartment Review for Balcones Club Apartments - Austin, TX

I paid my rent on time every month,was a good tenant,and still got the shaft when I moved.These apartments are old, out dated and very over priced.The utilites are very high for the size apartment that I had, 564 sq ft, electric ran around 130-140 in the summer.I know that Texas summers are extremely hot, but I lived alone, used the a/c in moderation and still it was a high bill.I complained about the a/c not cool enough and that the bill was too high for such a small apt, but the best answer I would get was, that it was cooler inside the apartment than outside so it is working correctly.If you do choose to rent at Bacones Club I suggest that you make sure when you leave to ask for a walk through, they WILL NOT suggest it or want to take the time but do it.I cleaned the place from top to bottom and they ended up charging me bogus repairs ($40 to replace dip pans on oven top).
