Apartment Review for Longhorn Landing - Austin, TX

I have lived in Longhorn Landing for 2 years now. When I first moved in, the neighborhood was a massive and terrifying culture shock. I'm a female from a privileged neighborhood, and I simply was not prepared to move into an economically depressed area. After a while of not being attacked, harassed, robbed, etc, I stopped feeling unsafe. I renewed my lease for the coming year, and I feel pretty good about it. I live in a one bedroom with my fiancee. It definitely helps to have a trusted person as a roommate. We play tennis and go places after dark very frequently, and we have never encountered any issues whatsoever. LL has always done right by me. I have no outstanding complaints.
