The apartment faced the woods - gorgeous view! The 4 flights of stairs were a beast, but hiring professional movers preventing me from dealing with that part of it. Everything went smoothly and all was in working order. I lived in that apt. for 1.5 years and only once we had a very small problem with sugar ants. A little bait and they went away. The wind currents would blow out the pilot in our fireplace, though (it seemed). But it is designed that it shuts off and doesn't leak gas, and since we didn't use the fireplace, we didn't care. There was ranchland behind our apt. with walking trails. I would often sit on the balcony and enjoy watching the wildlife as well...deer, rabbits, birds, cats. LOL! Then I moved into a 1 bdrm, 1st floor in the middle of my lease because of marital woes. The management were extremely nice and helpful to me. My 1 bdrm is spacious and even though it faces Parmer, it is not very noisey at all. Sometimes I can hear my upstairs nieghbor, but he also is of significant size. It is not often or loud enough to bother me. Every neighbor I've had has been nice. I feel safe there and like that they get criminal background checks upon applying. I don't use the pools, but from what I've seen they are clean and well kept. I have on occassion used the fitness rooms, and they leave much to be desired, although they are updating them right now. Internet isn't really convenient unless you have a laptop and want to hang out at the pool. I just pay for my own because the business center isn't much at all considering the size of the complex. But, I've checked around and these apartments beat the others for square footage, storage space, price and noise level. The crime levels are very low, even with the gates getting stuck on occassion. The utilities have not been very high. The location is nestled between RR, Austin and Cedar Park with parks, golf courses and shopping nearby. I would recommend these apartments to anyone.
