| First off, to the people who have nothing to do but complain about this apartment, do you realize HOW LITTLE you are paying for rent? You simply CANNOT expect to be living luxuriously if you're paying so little. I'm sorry if what you expected of apartment living is nothing like living in your detached home with your parents before you left for college. If you loved it so much there, go back home. You will hear water pipes and ocassionally people talking. You share walls. It's inevitable.
I have not had any problems with my apartment. Sure there's an occasional bug here and there, but that's why you call the office for pest control - just as you would anywhere else. The staff has helped me promptly with every problem I've ever had with the apartment including getting a new refrigerator because our old one wasn't working properly. I think part of this has to do with treating the staff as people and not demanding them to do things when something goes wrong. This shouldn't be news to anyone. I have not had any problems with the maintenance staff. They have been friendly and hardworking and get the job done. I enjoy my neighbors and feel safe in my apartment. I don't have to worry about my car at night or that anyone will break into my vehicle. This is an older complex with some room for improvement aesthetically on the outside, but the inside of my apartment is lovely and comfortable. I think this should be the priority of the complex. There are a good mix of people that live in this complex, and I think the management does a good job of placing you in a building with other people who match your lifestyle. I'm happy and hope to live here for the years to come until I purchase my first home. |
