I moved in thinking I had the best apartment. No one below me because I was above the leasing office and only one really cool person beside me. Awesome. Wrong.

Two to three months of moving in, my dishwasher broke and flooded my apartment and the leasing office below. I called them and they turned off the hot water in my kitchen. That was the solution. They probably would not have even done that had it not flooded the office.

I did not have hot water in my kitchen nor a dishwasher for 7-8 months. NO JOKE. I have the letters that I wrote and the calls to the city that I made documented. Oh yes. The city was already involved with this apartment by this time. You see my cool neighbor finally got fed up of not having hot water in her kitchen also for about a yr and then had rats in her apartment.

Let's just say when you take care of rats in one aprtment they seem to find their way into others. That's right I got them. Along with roaches to boot. I am in month 12. Lease over and moving out. Worst place I have EVER lived in. I have lived in numerous cities and this has to eb the worst.

Only one maintenence person, and agent who is oh so nice and then turns on you as soon as you need help from maintenence or have an issue and cars have been broken into in the parking lot. Police cars cruise by at night and I have actually seen people with mag lights looking into cars that run away as soon as they see someone watching them. The rent is cheap and the location good, but keep in mind "In Austin, you get what you pay for."
