| This is by far the worst place I've ever lived, and the poor management, maintenance service, and crappy tenant treatment cannot be covered up by a name change. These apartments used to be called Greystone, but I guess it was getting such a bad wrap and getting known for being so ghetto that they were forced to change the name.
Here's the breakdown. Despite the sketchy tenants, car break-ins, and bathroom leaks, it was an ok place to live. That was, until I gave my notice to vacate and simply asked the people in the office to fill out a rental verification form within the next 7 days.
Not only did was this not done, but it was thrown away. I questioned them after already losing the prospective house that I was going to get, and all I got were lies. The next month I found a new place and requested another rental verification and what do you know... they suddendly found the old document and faxed it in saying that I had not paid rent on time, that I had late fees, and blah blah blah. THEY LIED ABOUT MY RENTAL HISTORY IN ORDER TO KEEP ME FROM GETTING ANOTHER PLACE. I paid rent on time every month and have the document to prove so and the document showing where they whited out the original positive responses that they filled out in front of my face and replaced with negative lies.
Not only did they lie about my rental history, they lied about numerous break-ins (my neighbor's place was broken into) and an attempted assault on the property.
Don't be fooled by the name change. This is the ghetto, folks. |
