Reviewer:   Anonymous   Review Date:  3/2/06      Rate This Apartment     I moved into my apartment about two months ago. I have had nothing but problems since day one, literally. I moved into these apartments because they are relatively new and the model looked great. My apartment, however, is falling apart and no one cares to fix it. The day after I moved in I noticed the toilet "rocks" and was leaking all over the floor, causing the linoleum to pop off. The maintenence staff decided a heaping layer of caulk would do the trick and didn't care less when I called again telling them the caulk didn't fix the problem. The bathtub also leaks. The leaking caused some of the baseboard in my bedroom, bedroom closet and bathroom to bulge and start to rot. The carpet has also started to rot. Again, the maintenece staff decided caulk was the way to go. Needless to say the tub still leaks, the baseboard is still rotted (although the rot has been ineffectively painted over) and the tiles are still popping up. No one cares, the office keeps sending the same RUDE, INCOMPETENT people out. This area is also a bit "rough". The day I moved in, two young boys tried to rob my moving truck and I have seen MANY people walking around with their pants hanging off their rears. I have lived in several apartments over the last nine years and have had nothing but great things to say about them. Don't live here, trust me. Also, TXU is the electric provider, not City of Austin and their rates are rediculous.
