Reviewer:   Anonymous   Review Date:  9/1/06      Rate This Apartment     The concrete floors in the place are awesome. But all awesomeness abruptly ends there. The place is completely infested. Roaches everywhere. The neighbors are fine, mostly families, but they don't seem to have grasped the concept of a trash can. Luckily people routinely comb the complex to pick up trash, only what they can resell, though. So you won't see many cans, but plenty of paper, diapers, bottles, etc. My car was broken into, and the shattered glass from car windows carpets the parking lot. Management was super friendly when I moved in, but they've changed staff since, and the current staff is overworked and underinterested in the tenants. The roaches really make it bad, though. A neighbor, who since broke his lease at great cost, told me the roaches weren't nearly as bad at any of the places he lived in NYC. Don't be fooled by the apartment they show. The buildings in the front are well-kept; those in the back are horribly neglected. I can't stress the pest situation enough. Really, really not worth the price, the space, or the nice flooring.
